These are free pictures, and you can use them for whatever you want to. There are no copyright or trademark restrictions on the photographs we host, and no licensing or royalty fees are required to use these images in your work.
Of course, you can still provide credit to the photographer or organization that donated the photographs you use. Many of our contributors also provide a donation link with their images if you feel like supporting them in a more direct fashion.
No licenses, payments, donations or royalties are ever required to use the photographs that our contributors have released here!
While we encourage you to support our contributors the Photos To Use website is an effort to expand the public domain directly while providing both encouragement and resources for others who may wish to donate their unused works to the public domain for use and preservation.
